Short version: your own customer file is read in your own browser, and we never receive it. We do not ask you to make an account.

Territory Align (territoryalign.com) is run by SHORE AI LLC in Malibu, California. This page explains what happens to information when you use the site.

Your file

When you add a file or a Google Sheets link, it is opened and read by your browser, on your computer. The names, addresses, amounts and anything else inside it are not uploaded to our server and are not stored by us. The territory lists you download are made in your browser too. When you close the page, it is gone.

The chat

What you type to the helper, and the names of the columns in a file you add (not what is inside them), are sent through our server to an outside AI service so it can answer. We do not store your chat. Please do not type names, addresses, account numbers or other private details about people into the chat.

What else our server receives

To draw your territories, the page asks our server for the outlines and Census numbers for the places in your area. That request carries place codes, or the corners of an area you drew, and the plan the helper made (how many territories, what to balance). It carries no names and no amounts from your file. Our server passes the request on to the U.S. Census Bureau and sends the answer back. We do not log or store it.

Services that see your visit

• AI service. Receives the words you type in the chat, as described above.
• U.S. Census Bureau. Receives place codes and drawn areas to return outlines and population numbers. It sees our server’s address, not yours.
• Google Sheets. Used only if you paste a Google Sheets link instead of dropping in a file. Our server fetches the sheet from Google and passes it straight back to your browser. We do not store or log it.
• Stripe. If you buy a project pass, you pay on Stripe’s own secure page. We never see or keep your card number. Stripe tells us the payment went through and gives us your email address.
• Resend. Sends the receipt email with the link to your pass. We use your email only for that receipt.
• Mapbox. The street map behind your territories is loaded from Mapbox, so it can see which part of the map you are looking at.
• Google Fonts. The page fonts are loaded from Google.
• Analytics. We use Google Analytics and Plausible to count visits and see which pages are used. They may use cookies or similar technology. We do not use them for advertising.
• Formspree. If you use the contact form, your name, email, phone (if you give it) and message are sent through Formspree to us.

Customer lists and other people’s information

A customer list can hold personal information about other people. It stays on your computer, and you are responsible for having the right to use it and for following the laws that apply to how you contact people.

Selling and sharing

We do not sell your information. We share it only with the services above to run the site, or if the law requires it.

Your choices

You can block cookies in your browser. If you wrote to us and want your message deleted, email info@territoryalign.com. The site is not meant for children under 13.
